First Post and Introduction

For a while now, I've been into the idea of the Pretenders that Hasbro used to make as part of the Transformers line, smaller Transformers of existing characters that would go into large, non transforming plastic shells with limited articulation. The Autobot Pretender shells looked goofy, and the Decepticon shells looked ridiculous. So, eventually it was cancelled. Some time ago, I had the idea of a new kind of Pretenders series, with new characters in Legends or Scout Class size plugging into a Voyager or Leader size shells with high articulation. I decided to call them Shellmasters, mimicking the names of other Transformers gimmicks. This blog is made for development of those characters, models, and figures. I suppose the ultimate goal would be for the concept to get picked up by Hasbro or some third-party company. I suppose I'll just have to see what happens.
